
Oscar Sullivan guides recent arrivals to his campgrounds through the area while his dog, Ugi, looks on. Oscar and his wife Geneva have owned and operated the park for more than 20 years.

Oscar Sullivan, who worked as a mandolin player for the Grand Old Opry for 38 years, shares a few tales with two recent arrivals to Singing Hills. They new guests were impressed with Sullivan's recollections of the times he spent with rock icon Elvis Presley in Nashville before he hit it big.

Rollin 'Oscar' Sullivan practices his speech in his recording studio to the Kentucky Grant Association. Oscar is applying for a 160,000 grant to make repairs on his RV Park, Singing Hills. Instead of mailing in the usual registration form to the grant committee, Oscar is making a recording of his voice asking for the money and explaining why he needs it.

Oscar and Geneva relax in the kitchen after eating their lunch. 'I don't know what I'd do without her,' says Oscar, 'even though she'll probably make me do the dishes.'

Oscar and Geneva say a prayer for their dog, Ugi. Ugi had been missing for a day before Oscar found her earlier this morning, dead from a snake bite. They had owned Ugi for more than 12 years.

Oscar Sullivan gets a little smooch from his wife Geneva before heading out to make some repairs on their campground's equipment. According to Oscar, he and Geneva have had an ongoing 'love affair' for 41 years.
