37 years ago Magaline and Owen 'Junior' Meredith lied to the justice of the peace -- saying she was 16, not 15 -- when the two were married against their parents' wishes. He was 22. 'We're more in love now than ever', Magaline declares now at age 53. Owen, 60, concurs with a nod and an 'ahhh, huh'.

Well known for her flare and wild hats Magaline Meredith, 53, gently lifts one such hat from her collection of 400, with the care of a piece of fine antique crystal. Before leaving for work each day, she chooses an outfit and hat for the next day, usually both vintage.

Magaline Meredith returns to Owen 'Junior' Meredith at the van during the annual Highway 63 Roller Coaster Yard Sale, a state-wide event starting at Cave City, ending in Tennessee and yielding several bargains they'll sell at the store. Driving back toward the store, at the wheel Owen smiles at their take.
