Casey and her stepmother Janice discuss the cost of a new uniform, required wearing for a nurse's aide. After Casey completes her vocational training in December, she hopes to get a job in the area?and finish high school in June. CK

"I don't care what people say anymore...when I first started high school there were alot of rumors, they'd say my baby's father was my brother-or my mom's boyfriend. They'd make me cry everyday. People are always going to talk, I just had to learn to keep my chin up." said 17-year-old Casey Brammer.

Casey steals a few moments with her boyfriend, twenty four year old Rodney Back, in her family's yard. After two years of dating, the couple plans to marry. CK

Casey sits on the sidelines while a physical therapy patient exercises. Requirements for a Certified Nurses Assistant certificate means hours of observation and hands-on training by professional staffers at Colonial nursing home. Casey expects to complete her certificate requirements in December. ck
