• Hard work, hot meals keep family farm running. Morris Martin, 80, of Junction City Ky., relax in the early morning sun. The Knob Farm has been passed down through three Martin generations and together Morris and Dorothy have raised five kids here in Boyle County.
• Morris Martin, 80 of Junction City Ky., walks home to a promised meal from his wife after a long day working in the sawmill. "My other half is sassy," Martin said. "We've been married for 38 years, thats a long time to stick with someone.

• Amy, the family lap dog, makes herself comfortable on her favorite lap. "She come up here to fthe farm house when the grandkids leave and doesn't go home until Sam comes home," said Morris Martin

• Brothers Sam and Eddy Martin work together on a garage built from wood cut on their family farm and processed at their father's saw mill. Morris Martin has owned the mill in Junction City for 48 years. "We cut a little wood and they build a little, and it all works out," Morris said

• Martha, 56, and her sister Marcha, 61, Graves of Danville Ky., take a break with friends in the Centre College Post Office during a long shift at Centre College where they both work as custodians. The sisters have lived together their entire life and both work as custodians at Centre College. "We've lived in this area all our lives. We're still at the home place," said Marcha.
